Wychmere Beach Club wedding, Cape Cod wedding photographers | Joan and Kevin

Wychmere Beach Club wedding, Cape Cod wedding photographers | Joan and Kevin

After photographing Joan and Kevin's engagement session a while back we knew their wedding would be a blast.  They are both super down to earth, full of energy and fun loving.  Needless to say (see below) their wedding at the Wychmere Beach Club down on Cape Cod did not disappoint. Beautiful light, the right wind when we needed it, a slight cloud cover and great friends and family made this wedding an extremely memorable one. It was really challenging to keep this as one post so excuse the obscene number of images here. Take a look at some of the favorites:

Their first look out on the dock at Wychmere.

Joan's long veil was amazing and definitely added a little dramatic flair - needless to say we loved it!

Love, love, love this! Perfect light, perfect breeze and Joan wasn't afraid to play around and let loose.

Thanks again to Joan and Kevin, for just being themselves and letting us document their great wedding day.

Boston Photographer, Sky's on Fire | Fun Friday

Boston Photographer, Sky's on Fire | Fun Friday

On our way back from Newport a few weeks ago, Theresa made us stop at the park in our backyard.  I hesitated a little, because I knew she just wanted to go swimming, but I had my camera so I was ok.  And before you jump to any conclusions you should know I'm not a huge fan of straight forward sunset photos, since I'm sure they're the most photographed subject ever. And as a photographer I tend to shy away from the obvious, looking for something even slightly different. But that night I couldn't help myself.  Must have been the recent rain storms, a clearing wind and some x-factor, but the color in the sky was nothing short of amazing. One of those, stand in awe, hard to believe our world looks like this moments.  And with no one else in the park that night, it was perfect to enjoy, just the two of us.  What we saw:
