Boston engagement photographer | Piers Park engagement shoot

Had this great early morning engagement shoot with Kate and Christian a while back. Christian had the idea for Pier Park and I was glad he did. I had never been over there before and as Christian is a pilot he used to live in the neighborhood because of the proximity to Logan. I love it when a client's idea can introduce me to a new place around Boston or New England. And it didn't help that we ended up with a pretty perfect morning and to top it off mother nature gave us a little magic at the end (ok it was just a little rain, but the resulting image looks pretty magical to me). Keep your eye out for more of Kate and Christian, with their Zukas Hilltop Barn wedding which I'll try and post soon. Enjoy!

Martha's Vineyard wedding photography | the wedding of Kim and Dan, Part I

Back from a blogging hiatus with Kim and Dan's amazing Martha's Vineyard wedding. And this one was too fun for just one post, so count this as Part I.

Kim grew up on Martha's Vineyard and her family still runs a business on the island. This helped Kim and Dan add some unique aspects to their day, such as having the bride and groom lead their guests on a 'parade' down Main St. in Edgartown. Not something you'll see at every Martha's Vineyard wedding :) Super fun! They selected a number of spots around Edgartown for the days events. We started with the first look at South Beach, the church in Edgartown for the ceremony, the Edgartown Reading Room for bridal party photos and ended at the Edgartown Yacht Club for the reception. Couldn't have asked for a better day or a better couple to work with. Enjoy some of the getting ready, first look, ceremony and bridal party photos! More to come next week.

Saxophone player leading the parade down Main St, = pretty pretty sweet!

What do you do when a dog with a cast on it's head decides to 'interrupt' the guys photos? Keep shooting of course...

Part II to come next week. And keep a look out as we'll be posting options for holiday cards and a big print sale in the near future!
