A big thanks to Amanda and Brian for not only having a great time on their Engagement Shoot the other day, but also for introducing us to this very cool location. This is a little tucked away oasis of a park in Brookline and actually where Brian proposed to Amanda (she obviously said YES). We love it when our clients want to make the shoot a bit more personal with their favorite locations or hangouts. Now take a look:

Mara + Josh | 6.19.10

Mara and I went to High School together, I won't mention how many years ago, and I was happy to bump into her earlier this year at Ruthann and Billy's wedding. She loved our work and here we are 5 months later. Mara could not have planned a better day - the sun was shinning, everyone was smiling and looking to have a great time. Pleasant Valley Country Club provided a perfect backdrop for the golf loving groom, and a spectacular spot for photography as well. Mara and Josh thanks so much for having us. Massachusetts Portait Photography | Family Session

We had some great ideas for newborn Olivia, but she was just too awake, alert and well super cute as well. It was good to see some old friends, and the new additions to their family when we traveled up to New Hampshire for this family portrait session. Their home made for the perfect backdrop to the photos. Laughter, smiles and good times were had by everyone - so a definite success. Now take a look:

Boston Engagement Photos | Beth + Steve

We were thankful to get a day without the recent every afternoon thunder storms, so we could meet up with Beth and Steve. Their wedding is at the end of the month, over at the Belmont Country Club, and like we try to tell everyone the Engagement Sessions are a kind of warm up for the big day. We get to know each other a little big, you see how we work, what our style is like and most importantly we aren't strangers when we show up on your wedding. The best photographs always happen when we spend more time with our clients. So we all raced out of the city, sat in some traffic but made it to our destination where the beautiful light was waiting for us. Beth and Steve were even troopers when the flies and mosquitoes came for us on the beach. We look forward to the wedding in only a few weeks!! Now take a look:

Noreen + Bob | 5.29.2010

Noreen and Bob are such a relaxed, genuine, loving couple and that's what we wanted from the feel of the photographs. Sometimes it's hard to get that right feeling or look, especially when you want to show the love that people have for each other to translate in an image. I mean that's what our style of photography is all about - having a great time but also capturing the passion people have for each other. We knew Noreen and Bob weren't going to be a problem because they could just look at each other and start cracking up. We were very happy to be a part of their wedding reception and the 3 hour tour of the Boston Harbor aboard the Seaport Elite Yacht. It was a perfect night for it, clear skies and warm - just right for dancing! Now take a look:
