Narragansett, RI is a gorgeous place to visit any day but on Caroline and Shamus' wedding day the weather was especially perfect. There was this slight crispness to the air, or maybe that was the nervousness we could sense from both the bride and the groom. Documenting all the emotions that can occur during any wedding day is one of our favorite parts of our jobs. The overwhelming joy from seeing a little cousin all dressed up, difficulty tying a tie as the ceremony time creeps near or the tears of happiness from the words of a maid of honor or best man. It's all those little things that make each wedding unique and truly special. Caroline and Shamus' day was no exception and we had an amazing time working with them. Thank you both! Alcatraz | Portraits on The Rock

With a pretty rare week off in the summer we made a brief trip back to Cali. Knowing we would be in the San Francisco area we met up with some of Theresa's family and all headed over to The Rock. And of course had to get some cool shots of everyone. Besides the obvious great backdrop for many movies the place has a very interesting history and a cool view of San Francisco from the bay.
