Bridal Shoes | Jimmy Choo | Omni Parker House Wedding

ROI with Jimmy Choo

The best kind of investments are investments that you will give you a good ROI (return on investment). ROI, like a black cocktail dress or a simple black pump. Think about it, not always fancy, but always classic.  You will wear the dress and the heels for years, multiple times a year. Lets say the black pumps cost $200. Wear them 20 times in one season and it’s like you paid only $10 bucks each time you wore them. Wear them for more than one season and you really are getting your moneys worth out of those pumps! What a deal (hopefully they are comfy too).

When you think about all of the things you buy for your wedding day, dress, garter, cake, etc. a lot of those items will be used once and fondly hung in the back of the guest room closet, or maybe not so fondly sold on Craigslist. But wait, not everything has to be put away and forgotten. Think about the shoes! Buy shoes that are comfortable and that you will wear again, think ROI.

A couple weeks ago we photographed a wedding at the Omni Parker Hotel in Boston. Not only have the likes of Hô Chí Minh and Malcolm X worked there but it is one of the oldest continuously running hotels in Boston.  A truly classic venue chockablock full of history. Our bride, Laura, was very beautiful, possessing the kind of beauty we hope our future daughters will be blessed with and the groom wasn’t too bad either. Laura had a smart eye for classics. Check out her Jimmy Choo’s. These bad boys took her all over the city, all over the dance floor all night and I’m sure they are and will give her plenty of excuses to pull them out of the closet in the many years of happy marriage to follow. Talk about ROI, Jimmy Choo has taken the cake once more!
