It's always a pleasure to photograph the National Brain Tumor Society's Grey Gala each year. Corporate and event photography isn't something you see me post a lot, but I do shoot quite a bit of it each and every year. This event was at Boston's Seaport Hotel and even though the evening was very cold, they still had a great attendance in order to raise awareness, and recognize a few influential people in the field of brain tumor research. This was a fun shoot to get to work on in conjunction with MCPHS University. They interviewed PillPack CEO and Co-founder TJ Parker and needed a few images to accompany the article. I didn't know much about the location, that is their office space right now, so it was a bit of a challenge to find unique angles that would work. Really very happy with the results. Enjoy:

Just wanted to share a few environmental portraits I was asked to make for the MCPHS University. They were having an event for their fellowship program at the Genzyme builidng in Kendall Square and it provided the perfect backdrop for the images. Such a cool space to work in. The interior lines of the building, the colors used and the natural light was all I needed for this one (well, and a little creativity to find the perfect spots :).

One of our great clients, the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, recently asked me to photograph another cover for their alumni magazine. This cover and story featured one of their recent alumni who also was in the service so we wanted to show off her medical background but also her time in the Army. Location portraits are always a fun challenge to photograph, whether it's around Boston or anywhere here in New England, and thankfully the Sunday in April wasn't too cold out. Meg was super easy to work with, as you can see below, and I have to again thank her fiance (now husband I'm pretty sure) Joel for helping me out and working in the wind.  Take a look at a few of the favorites:

For this Fun Friday post (yes changed from Random Friday to Fun Friday, Theresa thought that it had a better ring, so that's all I have to say about that) I thought I would share a few of the great updates we've made to our commercial photography website.
