Boston photographer new website launch preview

Hard to even post this I'm so excited to fully launch the new commercial photography website. It will showcase all the commercial photography projects I've done over the years and is truly my largest showing of non-wedding work ever. Needless to say I've put a lot of work into this and can't wait to share all the assignments I've been lucky enough to photograph - people, education, architecture and interiors, events, food and still life, headshots, and longer projects including the full collection of my images from Peru. So much cool stuff. Ok, back to getting this thing done!!

Santa Lucia Preserve, Equestrian Center Part II

So we thought we would wrap up sharing the images we made for the Santa Lucia Preserve Equestrian Center out in Carmel, CA. Here's the final part of the shoot where we were focusing on the trail riding, the teaching of herding techniques and the overall social component of riding around the Preserve, all 20,000 acres of it. It's truly such a beautiful property, something really magical about it, and we're so glad that all the elements came together so we could capture and share a taste of the beauty. With some skill, some preparation and some luck (including an amazing full moon rising over the ridge), we think we did it justice in the time we spent there. Can't wait to go back! Fun Friday | It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere

To expand your skills it's always a good challenge to give yourself personal assignments. And ever since Theresa's dad got us into home brewing I thought it would be fun to photograph some beverages, well beer anyway. I was tempted to use our home brew, we made an Irish red ale which turned out pretty kick-ass for our first attempt, but I decided against it because I knew I would be wasting beer with a few tricks to make the images look their best. And I give a serious nod to the photographers who photograph beverages all the time, it's not easy!  So on this Fun Friday installment, enjoy and get thirsty!
