So glad I was able to connect with Juliana and Glenn when they came back to MA for a short visit from Seattle. They're planning the wedding from a distance but growing up in MA will help and they already selected the beautiful Fruitlands Museum in Harvard for the wedding next year. We did the engagement shoot at the Winchester Boat Club where they met as teenagers. Pretty cool to be able to shoot in a location that has a lot of meaning to them and their relationship. Tower Hill Botanic Garden Engagement shoot, Boston engagement photographers | Alex and Mike

Pretty sure we rescheduled this engagement shoot at least 3 or 4 times due to the crazy rain we were having over the summer.  And we always tell our clients, we'd rather reschedule than force it and have it downpour during the shoot.  Some people have to take a half day off work, get all gussied up, hair done, etc. and to have to post-pone during the middle of a shoot would just plain suck.  So we try and be flexible.  Finally this worked out with a clear-ish day for Alex and Mike. They chose the gorgeous Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston MA for their shoot and it couldn't have worked out more perfectly.  We had a few rain sprinkles here and there, had to fight off some killer horse-flys, but in the end walked away with a lot of great images. And because of those small rain storms coming through we may have captured the most epic rainbow engagement photo we've ever seen. We're not saying 'best ever' but it's pretty sick. A big thanks to Alex and Mike for putting up with the elements and having a great time while doing it!

Mara and Jeremy came up with such an amazing location for their shoot I couldn't have been more excited.  And as it worked out the apple orchard didn't open for another week so we had the entire orchard to ourselves.  Yes, I was like a kid in a candy story....again.  Love engagement sessions!  We can play around, have fun, find nice light and make great photos.  The apple orchard in Natick is where they got engaged and going back for the shoot was definitely special since their wedding is coming up so soon in November.  Take a look at some of our favorites (and click on them for a larger view).  Can't wait to work with you guys on your wedding day at the Westin hotel!
