Well it's taken me a few months during the slower winter season but I'm excited to be able to share the complete collection of images from my recent Peru trip.
Peru travel and hiking the Inca Trail
If you've ever wanted to travel to Peru or dreamed of hiking the Inca trail, I highly recommend it! It has absolutely given me the travel bug and I can't wait for the next adventure. The elevation in some of the area is definitely challenging, especially hiking the Inca Trail, but all worth it for the experience and views. I found the Peruvian people super welcoming and friendly, the food amazing and the local culture so full of photographic possibilities. A few images are already available to buy as fine art prints so check that out as well if you fall in love with anything.

Yosemite National Park photography, part I | Fun Friday
Yosemite National Park photography, part I | Fun Friday
So for this Fun Friday post we wanted to share a little sneak peak of our time in Yosemite National Park a few weeks ago. If you haven't been to Yosemite we highly recommend it. It's truly one of the most beautiful parks in the U.S. we've been lucky enough to visit. This time of year is really nice to avoid the crowds and we were blessed with a snow-storm two days before we arrived so all of Yosemite valley was blanketed in fresh powder. Enjoy and have a great weekend!
The beauty in so many of these is in the details. Can't wait to finish the Yosemite book we're working on and then print some big!

Random Friday | Montana Rodeo Day 1
Random Friday | Montana Rodeo Day 1
Ok, well maybe not completely random, but I thought it would be nice to mix it up a bit and have Friday on the Garnick Moore Photographers Blog be a little different. Of course we'll still be posting our amazing weddings, engagement shoots, commercial and event photography the rest of the week but maybe Fridays are casual on the blog. Might be different every week, who knows, it might get crazy. A little Fine Art, a little travel, a little more about Theresa and I, our life, our adventures...
So for the first installment, on this crazy snowy day we're going back, not quite a year ago, to Montana. Yes, Montana. Theresa and I took this great trip out, to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, then to the Grand Tetons, then to Yellowstone and lastly to the little town of Wilsall Montana, where Theresa has some family. We planned it perfectly, if I do say so myself, so we would be in Wilsall for their annual Spring rodea. It was SO cool. Growing up in suburbia MA we didn't exactly have things like cow wrestling and horse and bull riding. I mean close but not exactly like that. It was a totally new experience and I loved it. I'll talk more about the Jackson Hole, Grand Teton and Yellowstone parts in another post but for today it will be day one of the rodeo. To set the scene, sunshine, warm with a cool breeze, beer early in the day and the smell of, well you know...animals.
Thanks for checking out our work.

| That's Theresa looking pretty damn good rocking the cowboy hat on the left, with her God-mother and God-sister. |
