Amazing couple.  So wonderful to hang out with and be around.  Matt and LaToya are genuinely caring and passionate people so when they contacted us about getting some photos we decided to play around with a few fun locations and different subtle lighting techniques.

You can tell we really weren't having fun together ;)

Really love it when a couple can just be together, an laugh so easily together.

Last weekend we were truly lucky to have been chosen to document Nikki and Mich's wedding right on Miami Beach at the Newport Beachside Resort. We couldn't have asked for a better time to get away, for work and a little rest and relaxation. I was lucky to get Theresa off the beach at all.  We were so spoiled when we lived in Monterey, with the beach only a few blocks from our house so it was nice to be spoiled again, if only for a few short days.  We did find time in between shooting a few events and the beach time to make a few images around Miami.  Found some nice light right on the coast and you can't get much better than that.  On our last day we found the time to stop at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens and it's amazing!  If anyone is getting married there please let us know we would love to shoot your wedding!! Enjoy!

Cape Cod Weddings | Cape Moments

Cape Destination Weddings  |

We had the great pleasure of heading down to the Cape for an amazing wedding at Wequassett Resort and Golf Club in Chatham last weekend.  It was a bit on the chilly side, but not cold enough for Theresa and I to miss out on getting our beach time in.  We were truly spoiled while living in Monterey, CA.  The beach was about a mile from our house and we always made time to get a run in or a little r and r.  There is something almost romantic about having the ocean, the surf and the sand a part of your day to day life.  Somewhere in between a Hemingway novel and Jimmy Buffett.  Well, it's something to dream about....but for now take a look at a few photographs we made in between the wedding activities:

Memorial Day | Veteran's Association | Bees

When I received a call from a friend saying his dad needed a few photos taken I replied why not. And how often do you get to stand around with your camera while hundreds of bees fly around you? As it turns out my friend's father, a veteran himself, is helping out the Veteran's Association, by keeping bees and making honey. So when I arrived in shorts and a t-shirt and he was fully covered up - well you can understand I was slightly hesitant....Take a look at a few of my favorites:

Lake Tahoe Destination Wedding | Off We Go...

And we're off today for our 1st of back to back, Feb. and March, Lake Tahoe Destination Weddings. Can't wait to get there and see that beautiful light and the gorgeous landscape. Here's a shot I made a couple years ago there in the summer and I just loved the way the light seemed to be dancing on top of the water.

Scarlett's Baptism

When I was back in Massachusetts a couple of weeks ago I was asked to photograph the Baptism of Scarlett Rose. She is the sweetest, happiest little girl with the biggest baby blues you ever laid your eyes on. The whole day was really special and I was so glad to be a small part of it.
