California Bridal Shoot | CA wedding photographers

Going to California is always my favorite trip. Family, food, and friends. California has it all for me. Randall and I went out to California for another jam packed vacation this spring. We hit the North Bay at the most perfect time, warm weather and hills full of wild flowers. Randall had to come back to New England ahead of me. The day after he left the most beautiful high cirrus clouds moved in, so of course I had to book a bridal shoot to take advantage of the beautiful light. Santa Lucia Preserve Bridal Shoot, Carmel CA | Destination Wedding Photographers

When one of our brides from a couple years back mentioned she might be interested in a shoot with her horse, Theresa and I jumped at the chance. We knew we had a trip to the West coast coming up so the stars all kind of fell into alignment. Ok, well not that easy, but any excuse for us to make a trip to Monterey and Carmel, we're all in. So if it wasn't already good enough, our bride Chelsea, is the equestrian manager at the amazing Santa Lucia Preserve. I was lucky enough to shoot 2 weddings at the Preserve a few years back and it's the sort of venue that leaves an impression on you for years to come. Rolling mountains, gorgeous oak trees, and more than a few wildflowers set the background for the shoot. Chelsea and Carson were so easy to work with and we can't thank them enough for their patience and time to make this happen! Also a huge thanks to Flora Design By Reina for the amazing bouquet for the shoot.
