Winter in Boston | Fine Art Photography

Theresa's Dad was in town visiting us for the Holidays a few weeks back so we tried to give him the all around Boston tour in a short 5 days. That's a tall order, not to mention all the snow we have been getting puts some limits on what to do - but we did decided to brave it one day and get a nice hike in. We did a little skating on the Frog Pond, a Freedom Trail tour, grabbed a beer at Cheers in Faneuil Hall, walked around the North End, another beer at the Bell in Hand Tavern - you get the idea. Here's a few shots I made around town:

Happy New Year Everyone!!

We're starting off the New Year strong with our first wedding last Friday, a short drive west of Boston. We were so excited for this wedding, with a chance to try out all our new equipment (Santa was good to us), and we knew Ruthann and Billy were going to be a ton of fun. They didn't disappoint. Sturbridge is a small and classic New England town and we're glad we had a chance to show off it's charm, despite a few snow flurries. California Destination Wedding | Lake Tahoe

Lori + Nick | Engaged

Theresa and I can't wait to photograph these two at the Edgewood Resort in Lake Tahoe California this coming February. Wow - just about 2 months away!! We are looking forward to Lori's vision of an elegant and classy white wedding, hopefully some snow, and of course a trip back to Cali. Tahoe is one of those magical California destination spots that you just can't get enough of. We photographed Lori + Nick's engagement session a while back just a few blocks from their house. It's Christmas Time | Ellsworth Tree Farm

Who doesn't imagine that jolly old scene out of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - trekking through the snow searching for the perfect tree. Despite the frigid weather on the day we picked, Theresa and I decided to set out on our own adventure and cut down a tree for ourselves. We found the Ellsworth Tree Farm, a really quaint picture perfect family-run farm in Northborough. Check them out next year. Here are a couple of our favorite shots:

Featured on The Knot - My Real Wedding

It was great to stumble upon a few of my photographs that one of my brides submitted to The Knot, My Real Wedding. I photographed Sarah & Jay's wedding last year at Mission Ranch in Carmel, California. It's one of Clint Eastwood's properties and it has an amazing view looking towards Carmel Beach and the subdued charm make it the perfect spot for an intimate wedding.
