St. Martin destination wedding | Kristina and Dan part II

Here's the second installment from Kristina and Dan's beautiful Caribbean destination wedding. We truly lucked out with the weather as it was raining on and off all morning with a serious downpour right before I was scheduled to being the photography. From there on out, nothing but amazingness. I mean the exact type of light I was dreaming about. Here you'll see some favorite images from both their wedding day and a few images we made together hanging out the day after the wedding. Hanging monkeys, beautiful clouds, moody light, blue ocean, reflections and a whole load of fun. What more could you want? Definitely my kind of wedding day. Enjoy!

St. Martin destination wedding | Kristina and Dan part I

Simply looking back through all these photos from Kristina and Dan's St. Martin destination wedding brings a huge smile to my face. And no it's not because we're still recovering from a recent blizzard here in New England. Someone much smarter than me always says, that as photographers we're only as good as our clients. And Kristina and Dan make me look good :) During the planning process with them I really stressed I wanted to capture more than simply the day they said 'I do'. But also the experience and feeling of the trip to St. Martin for their wedding celebration. So I was happy to be able to hang out with them and their family and friends and capture so many special, beautiful and fun moments. This post is part one, a few details from around the island, a group beach trip to Orient Beach and a dusk trip with Kristina and Dan so they could leave a love locket on one of the local bridges. Well it's taken me a few months during the slower winter season but I'm excited to be able to share the complete collection of images from my recent Peru trip.

Peru travel and hiking the Inca Trail

If you've ever wanted to travel to Peru or dreamed of hiking the Inca trail, I highly recommend it! It has absolutely given me the travel bug and I can't wait for the next adventure. The elevation in some of the area is definitely challenging, especially hiking the Inca Trail, but all worth it for the experience and views. I found the Peruvian people super welcoming and friendly, the food amazing and the local culture so full of photographic possibilities. A few images are already available to buy as fine art prints so check that out as well if you fall in love with anything.

Boston photographer new website launch preview

Hard to even post this I'm so excited to fully launch the new commercial photography website. It will showcase all the commercial photography projects I've done over the years and is truly my largest showing of non-wedding work ever. Needless to say I've put a lot of work into this and can't wait to share all the assignments I've been lucky enough to photograph - people, education, architecture and interiors, events, food and still life, headshots, and longer projects including the full collection of my images from Peru. So much cool stuff. Ok, back to getting this thing done!!
