Any excuse for us to get back to the West coast so Theresa can see her friends and family and we don't need much of a reason to say yes. Monterey in California is a real special place for us. We met there, we starting photographing weddings there, lived there for years and fell in love there. Lots of runs together on Del Monte beach and post-workout beers at Peter B's Brewpub. Good times! So when Kori was referred to us from a past bride, we jumped at the chance to shoot her wedding. It actually worked out perfectly because we were out in Monterey shooting another wedding and had a chance the day after to meet up with Kori and Stephen to shoot their engagement shoot around historic Monterey and on Del Monte beach as well.
They chose the amazing Pasadera Country Club in Monterey for their New Year's eve wedding. This was actually a little unusual for us as we didn't even start the photography coverage until after it was dark. It turned out really well (ahem, of course) and made us stretch our creative and lighting muscles a bit. We're always up for a challenge and the night at Pasadera made for a truly wonderful backdrop for their family and friends to bring in the new year.
