Here in the Northeast we're 'enjoying' epic proportions of snow outside so one way I'm coping (aka not going insane) is to focus on Spring. And what's better than a beautiful Spring wedding in Massachusetts? Well, not a whole lot in the wedding world and here's a gorgeous day from one of our favorite venues to photograph at,
Zukas Hilltop Barn. Anne and Adam decided they wanted the first time seeing each other on the wedding day to be a bit special, so we helped them plan a private first look. A lot of couples go back and forth on the first look idea, but for Anne and Adam they were a little nervous. Not about seeing each other exactly, but about being the center of attention for their family and friends. So the first look provided a special way for them to spend time with each other before all the craziness started, and to be able to say to each other, 'we're in this together.' And on the practical side of wedding planning we were also able to get all the bridal party and family formal photographs all wrapped up before the ceremony (pretty sweet if you want to spend time at the cocktail hour). Enjoy a few of favorites and remember Spring is coming, just maybe not until June...
